What Causes Too Much Burping?

Hi i am 22 years old and have been on the pill since i was 16 recently i changed to Cilest from Microgynon i have been expierencing alot of bloating literally i feel like my stomach and chest is full of air i press down and i start to burp on a bad night i will burp nearly 100 times it is starting to affect my sleep. I drink 2 litres of water a day and still this has not helped there has also been no change to my diet.

Hi there,

Bloating, water retention, and nausea can be side effects of birth control. It sounds like you aren't tolerating it well. I'd recommend going back to your old birth control and seeing if that helps your symptoms.
