What Causes Tongue To Be Tasteless?

hello doctor
now a days my husband telling that his toungue become tasteless.His tounge again again become tasteless during morning is ok
evening time is like that.i want to know all nerves are connected to brain all hearing sense,smelling sense.if any problem in future in the brain?

Hello!Thank you for posting here.

You did not mention if he is diabetic or hypertensive. Many medicines for hypertension can also cause this scenario.
Check for zinc deficiency.
Go for a non-alcoholic,tobacco free life style.
You can take becosules to correct any b complex deficiencies.
Do not add extra spiced and salts to help feel the taste.Instead you can make it colorful.
Let him chew on a small piece of lemon at times.
Should have plenty amount of fluids(minimum of 3 liters).Maintain good oral hygiene.Get a professional scaling done.
