Lump is lumbar region which does not move points to some serious condition. As if it was a
lipoma, it will usually be mobile like mouse. A painful lump can be due to collection of fluids in para-
vertebral region usually due to
tuberculosis or injury. In such cases we advise our patients to go for XRay Back & Xray spine , MRI Spine, and after confirming it on these tests, we need to get FNAC done.
Yes, the
numbness in your toes can be due to compression caused on nerve roots by the lump present on your back.
If its cystic, you should be fine with
drainage and antibiotics for few weeks/months. If its TB a radical treatment will be needed.
