What Causes Tiredness, Drowsiness And Body Pains?

I have had body aches for 5 days now, and some rattling in my chest but no cough or mucus. My chest feels stuffy, but I am not wheezing. I feel a general feeling of malaise and am getting aches and pains in my back, hands, shoulders, and feet. A lot of people at work have been calling out sick too, but they have a cough. I think I have a fever but have not verified this by temperature. I just feel really hot. I do live in Honolulu, and it is hot out--but I feel much warmer than normal. I am extremely tired and have been sleeping a lot. Taking ibuprofen and drinking lots of water. Stayed home from work 2 1/2 days. I am an asthma sufferer. I did a home breathing treatment. It didn t help much. Should I see a Dr.? Not sure why this is lasting so long with little improvement.

answer to your question is yes you should see a Pulmonologist .

bodyache , malaise, fever , rattling in chest , tiredness , all these symptoms can be due to variety of diseases like

- upper/ lower resp tract infections
-bacterial or viral infections

you need to visit a Pulmonologist who can request for a chest X-ray and some blood investigations to lead to a diagnosis
