hi...i have understood your concern..
first of all u have been feeling sick for long duration of almost 7 years and admitted to hospital for that..the symptoms are not continuous as per explanation and now they have came back..i dont know the detail of the meds u have been given and for what purpose [means what diagnosis].
it may be a part of long term untreated depression, because in depression also there are different types and one type is ATYPICAL DEPRESSION, in which person has excessive sleep, fatigue, excessive appetite, heaviness in legs, reactive mood [which changes which good and bad news] and rejection sensitivity...
i dont know about your mood. hows it? if u continuously feel low and sad or it is reactive to good news and then again it is becoming sad..whether it changes depending upon the day time..u must have been feeling extreme tiredness, lost interest in your routine work as well as in your hobbies..there may be problem with concentration. u have not mentioned about your performance in the studies..
i feel that u might be suffering from depression and that also the different one possibly ATYPICAL DEPRESSION..
another thing that came in mind is called as CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME, which is a psychosomatic illness having similar features as u have described, continuous feeling of sick and tiredness..

there are treatment options available in the form of medications:
tab. sertraline [50 mg] once at night, increase to 100 mg after 10 days, can go upto 200 mg...
instead of sertraline u can also take acivating drug like fluoxetine froem the same class..cap. fluoxetine [prodep 20 mg] in the morning after the breakfast..or tab. bupron xl [150 mg] in the morning after breakfast, increase it to 300 mg after 10 days...

with this medication u ll surely improve.. i hope u ll find this advice helpful..best luck..
