General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You seem to have Scabies infection showing the specific skin lesion. It's carried with skin to skin contact with a patient suffering form the disease, mostly spreads in family or friend circle. Please get yourself physically examined by your family physician to confirm the diagnosis. Treatment consists of scrubbing the lesion nicely with soft brush during bath followed by application of anti-scabies drug (Scabindon) over the counter below neck portion of body. Patients used clothes, bed linen or skin to skin contact are the spreading factors.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
