What Causes Tinnitus Post Myringotomy Surgery?

Please help me, as I am sud Please Please help me as I am suffering from side feercts frrom a myrongotomy. This surgery was performed 1 month ago and now I am hearing swooshing sounds at night. This noise is affecting my sleep pattern, as well as causing great anxiety.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have tinnitus post myringotomy surgery. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like ear infection , TMJ problem , localise blood pressure difference , but in your case the ssymptoms are probably due to complication of the myringotomy surgery . In such surgery there can be certain complications like ear infection , tiny pores , scarring or allergic reaction to the tympanostomy tube itself , which can further cause tinnitus . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for correction of complication . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , sedatives along with supplement like ginkgo biloba .
