I will try my best to answer your query. Pot (cannabis) is a common drug of abuse. It causes a lot of abnormal experiences as below:- 1. Perceptual experiences like hearing loud, difficulty in assessing passage of time, tinnitus. One of these abnormal perception is tinnitus (ringing sound in ear). 2. Disturbed thinking:- persecutory ideas as if he/she has been poisoned, fear of something going wrong, fear of death, anxiety, panic attack etc On eyes it may cause dilatation of pupil causing blurred vision. The effects come within a minute of smoking and last upto 3-4 hours depending upon the dose. You need not worry this time as the effect is due to acute intoxication. But regular cannabis use has long term deleterious effects on body and brain. It can cause permanent mental illness. I advise you to quit this habit at the earliest.
