What Causes Tingly Numb Spot On Outer Ear Cartilage?
My friend has aa tingly numb spot on the cartilage of his outer ear - this has gone on for 2 days. No assoc pain or bumps...no redness. No other symptoms, has not experience any neck or other pain. Originally it felt cold as if there was water on that spot but no fluid is there...now just numb and tingly. What could this be?
Welcome to Healthcare Magic. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Did he have exposure to cold air? Did he have any eruptions over the ear? If these things are absent then you don't have to worry. Check his hearing status to see its fine or not. Check whether he has sensation over face, cheek or not.
I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Take care.
