Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
This afternoon I was at my mom s. We were sitting outside and decided to go in the house. When I went to sit at the kitchen table I suddenly had a strange sensation and felt a slight tingling in the left side of my face. I tried to tell my mom I couldn t talk right but then before she could hear me, I got over it and felt normal again. Could that have been a mini-stroke?
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. No, I don't think it is mini stroke. I think you are having hypersensitive nerves of face which is causing tingling. Vitamin B12 deficiency is the most common cause for hypersensitive nerves. So start vitamin b 12 supplements. You will mostly improve with this. No need to worry for stroke. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
