What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Penis And Scrotum?

I have occasionally experienced slight stinging/tingling in my penis and scrotum after ejaculation, almost like the skin is torn or has an abrasion but there is none. Goes away in minutes. Position doesn t matter and I have been married over 25 yrs. and am confident STD s can be ruled out. 52 years old.

Tingling sensation of the tip of penis can be due to anxiety,contact dermatitis,traumatic damage to the nerves of penis,diabetes,prostatitis,genital herpes,urethritis and STD’s like Gonorrhea and Syphilis. I would suggest you to keep the area clean and wear cotton underwears.Also apply a mild steroid cream like Dermacort on the penis.If the symptoms persist then the above said conditions have to be ruled out. Please consult a urologist in that case.
