What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Left Ear?

I have a strange tingling sensation in my left ear canal. First I thought a spider was in it and had a short freaked out moment. Then thought it was a spastic nerve problem. Now it comes and goes, seems to be getting stronger and now my lower jaw is sore in the far back. Not sure what to do.
