What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Head When Diagnosed With Migraine?

I have been battling with sever migraines every day for roughly 3 months now. My vision in my left eye also seems to become blurred during these attacks. Sometimes the pain is a throbbing pain, other times a sharp stabbing pain and other times a dull ache. I have a strange tingling sensation on my head and left side of my face as well at times. For the last two weeks I have now also a feeling that a section on my spine feels bruised and is painful. The headaches seem to be mostly on the left side and I feel exhausted. I have been to the neurologist who just said I must deal with it. Please assist

Neurologist 's  Response
Hello Deborah!

My name is Dr. Aida and I am glad to attend you on Healthcaremagic!

Your symptoms could be suggestive of temporal arteritis.
I would like to know if you have experienced such migraine attacks before?
Coming to this point, I would recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam and some tests:
- a brain MRI study
- complete blood count, PCR, sedimentation rate for inflammation.
You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.

Hope to have been helpful!
Best regards!
