What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Body After Discontinuing Steroids?

Ive had an upper respiratory infection and I was taking antibiotics and steroid, Finished steroids yesterday and today I feel like im tingling all over my body. Almost like nervous in a way. Could this be from the medicine or should I go back to the doctor for revaluation. Im still having respiratory issues, from allergies.

Hello dear

Warm welcome to Healthcaremagic.com
I have evaluated your query in details .

* Steroid is an immune suppressor and reduces inflammation .

* Once you stop the consumption of steroid , body takes certain time
period to produce adequate levels of natural cortisol , due to which
there is tingling sensation in the body .

* So there is no need to consult doctor for tingling issue , but for
respiratory issues have to consult doctor if annoying .

Hope this will help you for sure .
Wishing you fine recovery .

Welcome for any further guidance .
Regards .
