What Causes Tingling Sensation In Lower Abdomen?

I have been feeling an very weird tingling/numbing feeling on my lift side near my ovaries. It doesn t hurt at all but I call tell it s there and is just uncomfortable. It s a numbing feeling that goes down into my left leg as if my leg was asleep . Also, I m on day 5 of my period and now my discharge/blood is brown. I eat very healthy so I know it can t be anything I m eating. I am very worries I have ovarian cancer. I have scheduled an appointment with a doctor but wanted to try and get some answers now. Thank you!

Hi

First of all, please observe to see if the pain or tingling is present even when you are off your period. If not then the sensation can be associated with your period and may or may not be normal.

Either way, you will need a physical examination as well as an ultrasound of your lower abdomen and pelvis.
