Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Tingling Sensation In Feet And Hands Along With Frequent Headaches?
I am a 28 year old female. I weigh 245 and I am 5 3. I became pregnant with my first daughter five years ago and during that pregnancy I gained 100lbs. I also developed chronic rhinitis and sinusitis. In December I had my second daughter and after birth my symptoms worsened and I developed several severe basic and food allergies. I also get tingling senations in my feet and hands at random times and have frequent head aches. I have a hard time sleeping and also get exhausted very easily. I am seeing an Allergist, but I m just trying to get an idea of what it could potentially be, while I wait on blood work and test results. So I can research and educate myself.
Your symptoms could be related to an allergy reaction. Other possible causes would be a metabolic disorder and migraine. For this reason, I would recommend performing some tests: - Allergy tests - Complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation - Thyroid hormone levels - Vitamin D and vitamin B12 plasma levels for possible deficiency - Fasting glucose levels
You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
