What Causes Tingling Sensation And Pain In Stomach?

My 10 year old fell very hard today at school directly on his stomache...he never put his hands out to stop the fall. He is now complaining of a tingling sensation and pain in his stomache area when he talks or takes a breath. Should I be concerned?

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

This is a case of blunt abdominal injury.
If the child has passed urine of normal colour, there is no external injury and the pain in abdomen is not severe then there is no cause for concern.

If you notice any of the following, consultation by Pediatric Surgeon will be needed
1. Blood in urine
2. Severe abdominal pain
3. Localized swelling in the abdominal wall

In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Wishing you happy and healthy life

Take Care
