What Causes Tingling Sensation And Numbness On Penis After Having Unsafe Sex?
Hello. I had unprotected sex less than 24 hours ago (2am). Since 9pm today, I have had this constant tingle and numbness on the tip of my penis. My testicles feel a bit sensitive. My penis hasnt been hard all day and it s very cold. I ve urinated same as usual. There s no discharge, no rash and no redness. I m worried. They say symptoms of even the earliest possible std won t appear for at least 24-36 hours but this happened almost immediately afterwards. This was a new partner. I had been in a four year relationship as of last month but was ditched. I regretted having sex almost immediately as it happened. That s all the info I can think of right now.
If there is no rash, redness, discharge, and no discomfort or pain on urination, this is unlikely to be an STD. This might be from the mechanical stress or friction. Just keep the area clean and apply an emollient. Avoid tight dressing. If the symptoms are not getting down by next day, or if above said features appear, kindly get back to your doctor.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
