What Causes Tingling Sensation And Numbness In The Thigh?

We were on vacation and doing a lot of walking in very hot weather. After walking, or standing in line, for a while, my right front thigh muscle would tingle and go slightly numb. If I sat for just a few moments the tingling and numbness would go away. This did not happen every time we walked around.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there I have read through your question and would like to tell you that tingling and numbness can be a sign of nerve compression. It can be diagnosed on an MRI. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write.
