What Causes Tingling Sensation And Numbness In The Right Arm?

Hi, thank you for taking my question. I have been experiencing an increasing occurrence of my right arm and hand becoming tingly and numb, especially at night. It throbs painfully and wakes me up. I have to keep re-positioning my arm until the numbness, tingling and pain subsides.

Hi welcome to the health care magic

I had gone through your query and it seems you are having peripheral neuropathy

Your neurological examination should be done

Check first of all diabetes, vitamin B12 deficiency by serum B12 estimation and serum random sugar estimation

Kidney and liver profile also should be checked by serum urea, creatinine, sgpt, sgot estimation

Vascular cause, connective tissue problems, alcohol, spinal problem etc are some other causes

If cause not found then NCV like investigation can be done
