What Causes Tingling Sensation And Numbness In The Hands?

I m a healthy 66yo male. After a workout (routine bike ride(r)/40+ years) and shower, I suddenly broke out in a clammy profuse sweat, also was hungry so I ate a late lunch and felt better, but now have a sudden pins & needles type tingling and numbness in my hands, especially the right...but is starting to subside as i write this. This is unusual for me but other than these sudden symptoms, I feel okay? Any comments?

tingling sensation and numbness in hands or fingers may be due to some problem associated with spinal spondylitis, cervical spondylitis, degenerative disease of discs, etc... these problems slowly increase with time.. so consult with the doctor
