What Causes Tingling Sensation And Numbness In The Feet And Hands?

Hello doc, I m a 51 yo male. my question is about tingling and slight loss of feeling in my feet and numbness in my hands/wrists. For example as we speak I am sitting on my couch holding my tablet on a pillow at about heart level and I can already feel just after a couple minutes my hands starting to tingle and going numb. My feet however are always cold and seem to have a permanent slight loss of feeling in them with occasional numbness. These odd symptoms just start about a year ago and prior to that have never happened. Any thoughts?

Hello,

The symptoms are more consistent with neuropathic causes like diabetes neuropathy.

Consult a physician and get evaluated. Make sure that your blood sugar level is well controlled.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
