What Causes Tingling Clitoris?

I ve have tingling in my clitoris once in a while. It started about a year ago and would happen about 3x a week. It started on the bottom of my feet up both my legs to my clitoris. Now it s happening 3x a day. It feels as if I m about to have an orgasim. What could be causing this? I ve been married for 12yrs so I doubt it s an std.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concern.
Tingling in both lower limbs radiating to bottom of clitoris could indicate one of the following conditions
1.Thyroid disorder.
2.Diabetes associated neuropathy.
3.Vitamin B12 or folic acid deficiency.
So i would advice a patient with such complains coming to me to do few lab test-
1.Blood sugar -Fasting and Post prandial
2.Throid function tests.
3.Vitamin B12 and folic acid.
If these reports are within normal range you need to consult an orthopaedic doctor to rule out nerve compression in spine.
Thanks and regards.
