What Causes Tingling And Discoloration Of Fingers Upon Exposure To Cold Weather?

Hello .. My question is .. In the winter time when I get cold from being outside my fingers start to get tingly and the they turn white then they turn purple that they almost look black the red hot .... This happens to my toes also but they only turn very white ... Im 43 years old

hi.

noted history of frostbite. it is secondary to exposure to a very cold weather not tolerated by your body, causing vasoconstriction of your blood vessels, decreasing blood flow to a particular area, such as your fingers when exposed to the cold. wearing of protective clothes/gear will help a lot.
