What Causes Tightness In The Throat And Chest Pain While Breathing?

I am 46 yrs old and in good health- i don t think i ve had so much as a cold in the past 2-3 years. i woke up a few days ago with a tight feeling in my throat but really no other cold-like symptoms. I also woke up with back and chest pain (right side only) whenever i take a deep breath. it s a sharp stabblng sensation and It feels like my back might go into spasm. Are these symptoms likely related?

Hi, It seems that your symptoms are related with muscular pain due o spasm involving inter costal muscles between ribs. The main cause may be improper posture on sleeping, Lifting heavy weight from the ground or any blunt injury.
Find out the cause and get rectified by avoiding such posture/activity.
Analgesics may be helpful.Take care
