What Causes Tightness In The Neck While Suffering From SVT?
I am considering having an ablation procedure. I have had SVT episodes over the last few months. Earlier this summer they happened at a frequent rate, a few times a week, but over the last couple of months I have had only a few episodes, the last being 2 weeks ago. I also have been having some discomfort with tightness in my neck at random times. I am wondering if that may be a result of the SVT or a sign of anxiety about this procedure. Also, what if any effects may there be from having an ablation if one is not necessarily needed? (or can this be determined during the procedure)
Some of the common causes of neck muscle tightness are-
1) Neck muscle spasm-posture related:
Pillow too high while sleeping, Swimming(or any other activity causing rapid neck movements), Poor posture like slouching on a computer screen or while reading, Holding a phone between neck and shoulder for a long time.
