What Causes Tightness In Chest Along With Rapid Heart Rate?
I m not sure how to explain how I m feeling. It seems like my chest area lately has been heavy. Not consistently, but throughout the day the chest area will slightly tighten and my heart seems to speed up and skip beats. Then it goes back to normal for awhile. I am not stressed or anxious when these occur, but it kind of feels a little like a mild panic attack might. It s very strange.

From history and symptoms there might be having some cardiac problem producing heaviness in chest, palpitation and skipping of heart beats,
Go for EKG to rule out any cardiac problem.
This can be found during anxiety neurosis aswell but before stamping this any cardiac ailment should be ruled out.
