What Causes Tight/red/bruised/swollen Shin And Foot With Numbness In Toes?
I fell down the stairs at work and injured my shin. It is a week later and the area is very swollen, tight, red and bruised. The bruising has spread down into my foot and even toes. I saw urgent care and they did an X-ray and said it wasn't broken. Now two of my toes keep going numb. Could there be a break they missed? Or is this he normal healing process.
Hello Thanks for your query After going through your query I came to know that you got injury to your shin and you got hematoma. If you has no fever, then no need to worry much. Hematoma gradually resolved by itself .Thrombophob gel local application three times a day over it(no rubbing) can help in resolving it. For pain relief analgesic such as ibuprofen can be taken .For numbness Mecobalamin is helpful. X ray has been already done to rule out fracture. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any further questions then don't hesitate to writing to us . I will be happy to help you.
