Hi, It is good that it ended with a bruise “only”. Now you are concerned that you might suffer from a late after-effect of this incident. As long as it is only a superficial feeling in the region where the bruise was, I would not be worried unless you are on blood thinners due to another condition. Should the discomfort, however, feel like coming from inside your abdomen or should sign of inflammation occur (pain, swelling, chills, fever etc.), you should see your local doctor for a thorough check-up.
