What Causes Throbbing Pain In Eye With Rise In Bp?

thank you for taking my question. Been having pain on my left eye - throbbing pain, now experience shooting pain - my high blood pressure reads 145 /100 avg. Been taking readings since 4.:00 pm. Took HCT 25 gms - left eye still hurting. Please advise.

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having eye pain associated with increase in blood pressure with blood pressure reading about 145/100.
This is because of raised blood pressure and it requires treatment by reduction of the blood pressure by using anti hypertensive drugs.
This is part of the headache which is caused by high level of blood pressure.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for treatment to reduce blood pressure at the earliest as the blood pressure is high.
