What Causes Throbbing Pain Along With Red Pigmentation On Legs?
My mom is in her forties and overweight, she is currently struggling with her lower limbs ( Feet has red spots and dents and her lower legs have reddish pigmentation with light brown spots and one lesion that looks like a plantar wart) She often complaint about her legs throbbing and she says that their is always pain between her toes. Can you give me any advise?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have throbbing pain along with red pigmentation on legs . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case the symptoms are probably due to meralgia paresthetica. There can be other reasons also like varicose vein , DVT and contact dermatitis .The cause of meralgia paresthetica is compression of the nerve that supplies sensation to the skin surface of your thigh. I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination. Doctor may order x-ray imaging , electromyography , nerve conduction study , nerve blockade with anesthesia . Doctor may prescribe corticosteroid injections , tricyclic antidepressants or gabapentin. For loose some weight and wear loose cloths . Keep your legs in hot water tub for 15 min with espom salt in it .
