What Causes Throbbing Headache And Nausea?

I ve have a pounding headache and right at base of my skull feels tight. I have neausea also. This happend a few weeks ago except my head neck and upper back felt like it all froze and I couldn t move. I was only sitting in a chair doing nothing when it happend

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have throbbing headache and nausea . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like sinusitis , cervical spondolysis or migraine . I would suggest you to consult neurologist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI or take history . Doctor may prescribe medicine like vasograin , antiemetic drug along with betablockers and muscle relaxant . Doctor may also refer you to orthopedic surgeon for cervical spondolysis or ENT specialist for sinusitis . For now take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
