What Causes Throat Pain, Laryngitis, Dry Mouth With No Saliva?
Four weeks ago my throat at the very back was giving me some pain it was like the pain was going at the top of my chest.Two days after my voice completely went.I went to my GP he gave me antibiotics and a spray for my throat,its been nearly on month and my voice has still not come back at all.Its stressfull as l cant answer a phone,l have carers as lm chronical sick and wheelchair bound.Im fed up know ,whats wrong,I do suffer from a dry mouth and it is l havent got any slava to swollow from time to time.Can you help? Lorraine

This could be allergic condition of throat, the best way to manage this condition is voice rest with Povidone iodine gargle, if this does not improved the investigation would be must to rule out the vocal cord lesion, hope this information helps.
