What Causes Throat Discomfort After Swallowing A Piece Of Plastic?

I was eating potato chips the bag was brand new. I unknowingly ended up with plastic in my mouth. I was able to throw one piece up but it feels like the other piece is still stuck in my throat. I am breathing and swallowing just fine. My throat is a little sore and when I swallow it feels like something is stuck. Other than that I feel fine. I do have asthma in my history. I was wondering should I go the hospital?

Hello,
If you still feel a foreign body sensation in your throat, please visit an ENT specialist. He will be able to take a good look and remove it if possible.
