What Causes Throat Discomfort After Having Yoghurt?

I ate some Yoplait yogurt, the brand name is "Oui" a few hours ago and now am awakened from my sleep with a feeling of a closure on the right side of my throat. Could I have botulism poisoning? It is a new brand of yogurt on the market and comes in single serving glass jars with a thin foil top that is peeled off. I had the vanilla flavor and the black cherry flavor. I have purchased this brand before.

hi mam/sir,botulism occurs due to improperly preserved,contaminated canned foods.as you had canned yoghurt,just check if any of the following symptoms appear :
1)double vision,blurred vision,drooping eyelids
2)slurred speech
3)difficulty in swallowing or difficulty of speech
4)severe nausea,vomiting or diarrhoea
5)dizziness,shortness of breath,constipation
6)weakness of limbs.

these are the symptoms of botulism.if they appear,you need a physician consultation without delay.just observe for the next 24 hrs and if nothing eventful happens,you need not worry.hope I’m clear.other health issues if any,kindly write to us.i’l promptly address your concerns.wish you and your family a very happy,healthy and prosperous new year.thank you.take care.bye.
