I have nerve damage in my feet from an accident I had June falling in a pothole and fracturing and spraining ankles and tendons. I kept telling them my feet burned when I shower or when in sun. Its now been 7 months and the told me I had to see neurologist but my PC just gave me gabapentin on phone, as a matter of fact my pharmacist told me how to take them. I didnt take them until last Tuesday after I saw NP and she told me to start taking 1 tablets 3x a day for 5 days and increase to 2 3x a day and then 3x 3x a day. I started taking them this past Tuesday and by Wednesday I felt like my throat was hurting, by Thursday I thought I had strep throat and a real bad cough. I couldnt get in to see anybody because of no openings. By Friday I was hacking like I smoked all my life and coulnt figure out what could be causing this hacking cough and what did I do or what I was doing different. I thought gabapentin and I look online and they I read that females over 60, I m 65 can get cough, so I stopped taking them. Today being a holiday could not get in touch with NP and still hacking and very hoarse. Actually I said to myself i heard this cough before and thought of my dog when he had kennel cough. I sound like him.
