Hello. Im in my mid 30's married with 2kids. I am presently suffering from a thin discharge that smells like feces. My doctor has been treating me for 8 months with metronidazole gel,.75% and it's not workng. Then he treated me with tindamx 500mg ( take 4 pills at once) then he gave me ciprofloxacin hcl 500mg tab, but that didnt work either. My blood work and culltures came back negative but the discharge is still there. I have just been referred to a infectionous disease Doctor who decided to start from ground zero. She waiting for my cultures to come back but until then im on levaquin 500mg but i still have a discharge. What could be wrong???

Hello,

Chronic discharge from vagina seems most likely due to infection cervix or vagina.

Culture of swab from discharge material is the diagnostic along with Trans-vaginal ultrasound to evaluate underlying disorder. You should consult with all reports as scanned copies.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
