What Causes Thick Cervical Mucus Discharge Post Period?
The past few months I ve had a normal period which is about 6 days for me. The last one(10/11) was more cramps and back ache then normal. But now I m getting a cervical mucus that is white or clear there s normal at least quarter sized amount but this last few times I ve wiped it so thick and sticky it can turn into a ball. It could almost pass for a booger or snot. Is that normal or should I be worried?
I can understand your concern. A vaginal discharge that colorless, odorless and without any pain or discomfort is no reason to worry and should be ingnored. Vaginal fluid is a cleasing solution that cleans the vaginal canal and it can vary in consistency in normal circumstances.
However, if the color changes of the discharge, foul smell develops or if you feel itching, pain or swelling in the area, you shoukd visit a gynecologist for physical examination and vaginal swab analysis.
I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.
