Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Wondering if I have a fistula leading from my urinary bladder to the vagina, since my tampons are urine soaked?? Is that the only explanation? It is the only thing that makes sense to me. I am 45 y/o so I m starting to experience different things.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Leaking of urine also can be a possibility as most women at your age can have some degree of incontinence of urine. You should consult a gynecologist and do detailed examination to rule out the condition. In case of any fistula it should be repaired as it can cause recurrent urinary infection and leakage of urine. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
