What Causes The Swollen Finger Near The Middle Joint?

Hi, recently, i noticed that the baby finger on my right hand was slightly swollen on the middle joint and it hurt a little when i bent it. Soon, my index finger started swelling and hurt when i bent it. I have a history of autoimmune disease and was wondering if this might be arthritis?

1. Since you have a history of AI disease thus you should check with a Rheumatologist for further necessary Examination and Investigation.
2. One should seek a surgical opinion regarding Flexor Tendinitis [trigger finger], and the information needs to be coupled with an adequate history and examination, while the examination is equally important but if the diagnosis remains in doubt, referral to a hand surgeon is necessary.
