What Causes The Skin To Turn Red Post Injecting Meth?

Can you help me understand why now after almost everytime I inject Crystal Meth my skin surrounding the injection site turns red and becomes Whelpy. Now I know what a miss is believe me, and the difference between them for me is on a miss there s a fair amount of pain followed by a lump, rather than this has no pain with the injection & it s not a lump it s real red welpy looking.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have skin to turn red post injecting Meth. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like hematoma due to injury to soft tissue or blood vessel or allergy to meth . I would suggest you to apply ice pack for 10-15 minutes thrice a day , take anti inflammatory and also take over the counter anti histamine like benadryl twice a days for allergy reaction . Avoid taking this drug as it is harmful If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor will examine physically . Doctor may drain hematoma , prescribe anti coagulant , immunosuppressants , anti inflammatory or may prescribe antibiotics in case of infection .
