Hi! Jaundice is a sign of liver disease. The most common infection is viral hepatitis. This normally resolves after some time. However, this can also be a manifestation of some more severe diseases also. It is always advisable to have complete blood counts, bilirubin, liver enzymes and viral studies done on your blood. Sometimes, an ultra sound may also be necessary. If your symptoms have resolved and urine has become white, then also it may be advisable to get some basic tests done before returning to normal activities. Trust I have answered your question.
