What Causes The Mass In Ear Canal To Be Leaked Like Water?
I currently have a mass in my ear canal which is being removed with in the next two weeks. I recently discovered that my ear was leaking completely clear fluid, almost like water, from my ear. My ENT told me that part of it has leaked a little, but it will come right back and still has to be removed. Is this normal for it to leak?

Causes of mass in ear canal exostosis,osteoma,polyps which can be due to infections in external ear/middle ear,tumors.A mass which discharges after removal possibly arisesfrom middle ear as this can cause mucoid discharge but this is thick,sticky type.Clear watery drainage could be csf which is very rare seen in trauma,malignancies.A histopathologiccal examination of the removed mass is essential for diagnosis.
