What Causes The Lump In Throat Feeling After Endoscopy?

i had an endoscopy on monday. i am still feeling a "lump in my throat" and have an odd feeling in my upper throat (feels near/right below the "adam's apple") when i cough, sneeze or laugh. yesterday's follow up w/ Dr. revealed everything normal, procedure went fine, etc. he wasn't concerned about this feeling i'm experienceng. just wondering how long to expect to continue feeling this, or why it's occuring.
