What Causes The Inability To Control Eye Movement While On Haloperidol?

I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder for 4 years now. I am taking haloperidol 5 mg benztropine 1mg and lamotrigine 200mg . I could not control my eyes movement. My eyes seem to roll upward for a long time . It s hard to control my eyes. May I ask why it is like that and how can I fix this problem?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hi
I had gone through the question and understand your concern.
Haloperidol does causes icular side effects like dilatation of pupil and blurring of vision.
Although rolling up of eyes is quite uncommon.
I would advise you to go see your ophthalmologist as get your eyes checked to rule out other conditions.
Hope this was of help.
let me know if you have any other queries.
