What Causes The Feeling To Stretch The Ligament Of Knee?
When I lay down to go to sleep, I find myself feeling like I need to stretch the ligament on the outside of my right Knee. It is somewhat akin to Restless leg syndrome, but not the same symptoms. The only way I can relieve this urge is to cramp the rear thigh muscle. However, if I don t straighten it out soon enough, I am in excruciating pain. If i straighten it too soon the symptoms continue and I can t cramp it again. Have you ever heard of this. I have had this condition since I was about 12. I am 62 now.
an excruciating pain at joint or ligament when in stressed position, mainly indicate a problem of tendinitis. restless leg syndrome will not present with pain. I suggest an XRay of the unvolved knee joint. An ESR test can give a clue. Warch for other problems like joint pain, back ache, fatigue, etc. consult an orthopedician after doing these investigation for a proper examination and hence a diagnosis.
