What Causes The Blockage In The Nose?
i felt like something was stuck in my nose and it was making my nose runny and feel like i was about to sneeze. after blowing my nose about 3 times a large(for the nose) solid but mushy red/brown chunk came out. my nose did not bleed that i can tell. i also have a mucus in my throat and i am a smoker

It looks like that you have developed a sinus infection and the chunk which came out must be thick infected secretions stuck in your sinuses. Please dont smoke as it will make matters worse and meet your ent doctor for confirming this and further treatment.
