What Causes The Bleeding Of Red Blister On Tongue?

Hi ive had this red blister type thing on my tounge iv had since i can remember when i was born.. Every now and then it bleeds and when it does bleed it bleeds for half an hour or soo.... It hurts every now and again... I wont to know what it is aswell as why do i have it????

A red blister which is present on the tongue can be a hemangioma, as it is present from birth.
But if it bleeds on trauma, it means that there is something which is creating problem.
Better that once you should visit your dentist and get complete examination of the lesion done.
If necessary he will go for further investigations. But it will solve your problem.
