I am having Pain in my Testicle(Left)and I am peeing more and have pain when I pee.Of course i will go my Locum but just wondered if this is common.I lost my right testicle in March 1984 and it has not affected me at all.Of course I am a little concerned about this though.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history of losing right testicle in March of 1984 and the remaining left testicle has pain, frequency of micturition, and painful micturition. This indicates that you have most probably epididymo-orchitis of the remaining left testicle due to urinary tract infection. I would advise you the following: First of all, to send the urine for examination, culture and sensitivity. Ultrasonography of the abdomen and scrotum Tests of blood. Start on proper antibiotic, urinary alkalinizer, to continue treatment till recovery is complete. Change over to another antibiotic only if said by the culture or need by inadequate clinical response.
