Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Question: I am female, 85 years old, physically active , walking my dog off-leash about a mile or more each day. This year my feet have become tender on the upper part. Above my toes/big toe joint especially. Also the top of my feet so that I must not lace my shoes tightly. I sleep with a pillow holding the covers so that they don t restrict my feet and wear diabetic sox although I am not diabetic. Cannot stand the spandex in most socks. I have two knee replacements. Which would complicate vein surgery. Do you recommend a bed that would lift my upper body at night so my heart can strengthen the blood to my feet
